Winter Word Search for Kids

Winter brings a useful collection of short words for children learning to search a letter grid. This easy puzzle pairs weather words with clothing, food, and outdoor objects, all in a small ten by ten layout. An adult can read the list aloud and help children connect each word with a picture or experience. Search only from left to right and from top to bottom. The printable works well during a quiet indoor break, whether or not snow falls where you live. After solving, children can sort the words into things to wear, things outdoors, and other winter ideas.
